Our Story
FutureInvestingforYou was born out of frustration — and eight years of hard-won experience in live markets.
After years of watching retail investors lose money not because of bad ideas, but because of a lack of system and discipline, the FIY editorial team set out to build something different. Our founding analysts have traded equities, futures and leveraged instruments across three major market jurisdictions — the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), the U.S. equity and futures markets (NYSE, NASDAQ, CME), and Indian exchanges (NSE, BSE) — accumulating over eight years of live trading experience.
What we found, trading across all three markets, is that the same patterns repeat. Momentum is momentum whether you're trading a TSX-listed ETF, an S&P 500 futures contract, or a Nifty 50 derivative. The difference between traders who compound and traders who blow up is almost never intelligence — it's system, structure, and the discipline to follow both.
FIY was built to package that insight into free, accessible tools, signals and education for the retail investor who is serious about improving — without paying hedge fund prices to do it.
Meet the Editorial Team
Every article, signal and calculator on FIY is produced or reviewed by a member of our core team — active or former traders with direct market experience.
8 years trading equities, futures and leveraged instruments across U.S., Canadian and Indian markets. Krishna built and refined the FIY alpha signal methodology through live trading on NYSE, NASDAQ, CME, TSX, NSE and BSE. His focus is systematic momentum — identifying high-probability setups that repeat across market cycles, asset classes and jurisdictions.
Priya specialises in position sizing, drawdown management and cross-market portfolio construction. With hands-on experience managing risk across North American and Indian equity accounts, she brings a disciplined, numbers-first approach to every article she writes. Her focus is helping retail investors survive long enough to let compounding work in their favour.
Ravindra translates complex financial and market mechanics into clear, structured frameworks that beginner and intermediate investors can act on immediately. He covers the fundamentals — ETFs, dividends, index funds, compound interest — with worked examples and real numbers drawn from live market data across TSX, NYSE and NSE listings.
Our Editorial Standards
How we research, write and review every piece of content on FIY.
Experience-First Research
Every article is written or reviewed by a team member with direct trading experience in the markets being discussed. We don't republish theory — we explain concepts through the lens of what actually happens in live accounts on real exchanges.
Numbers, Not Opinions
We use real calculations, real market examples and real trade structures to illustrate every concept. Where we cite performance targets (such as our 3.4% systematic signal target), these are based on back-tested and live-observed trade outcomes — not projections or promises.
Regular Review & Updates
Markets evolve. Our content does too. Every article carries a "Last Updated" date and is reviewed at least twice per year to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with current market conditions across all three jurisdictions we cover.
Balanced & Responsible
We never recommend specific securities, and we always distinguish between education and advice. Every page on FIY carries a clear disclaimer. Our goal is to help you understand — not to direct your capital.
Markets We Cover
Our team trades and monitors three major market jurisdictions, giving FIY content a genuinely cross-market perspective that most retail-focused sites lack.
Canada — TSX & TSXV
Coverage of TSX-listed equities, ETFs and leveraged instruments. Relevant for TFSA, RRSP and non-registered Canadian investors seeking systematic, momentum-driven approaches to wealth building.
United States — NYSE, NASDAQ & CME
U.S. equities, index ETFs, and futures markets. Applicable to 401(k), IRA and standard brokerage investors looking for professional-grade signal frameworks without the institutional price tag.
India — NSE & BSE
Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, and broader Indian equity market coverage. Useful for PPF, ELSS and direct equity investors transitioning from intuition-based to system-driven investing.
Why Everything Is Free
Most investors don't fail because of bad ideas — they fail because of fear, indiscipline, and a lack of a clear system. We built FIY to fix that.
Fear & Discipline in Investing
Emotion is the biggest destroyer of long-term returns. We built FIY to educate investors on how psychological biases play out in real markets — and how to overcome them with a rules-based system that removes guesswork entirely.
Understanding How Markets Behave
Markets move in repeating patterns — momentum surges, liquidity events, trend resumptions and vector changes. Recognising these structures doesn't require expensive software. It requires education and a disciplined eye.
No More Paying for Basic Tools
Professional investing tools shouldn't cost a fortune. Everything on FIY — the signals, the calculators, the education — is completely free. Built and maintained by people who remember what it felt like to need these tools and not be able to afford them.
Our Alpha Signals
Four proprietary signal frameworks developed through 8 years of live trading — designed to identify high-probability setups systematically, without emotion.
Alpha Momentum
Identifies strong directional momentum in liquid instruments before the majority of retail participants recognise the move.
Alpha Liquidity Surge
Detects unusual volume and liquidity events that historically precede significant price displacement across equity and futures markets.
Alpha Resumption
Captures trend resumption setups after healthy pullbacks — one of the highest-probability patterns across all three markets we cover.
Alpha Vector Change
Flags structural directional shifts — early warning signals for momentum reversal or rotation across asset classes and market sectors.
Free Calculators
A growing toolkit built so you never need to pay for basic financial math.
Always Free. Always Growing.
From compound interest and average price calculations to range targets, share quantity and target profit — our calculators are built with real investors in mind. New tools are added regularly as our trading team identifies gaps in what's freely available to retail investors.
